Are they Wireless Corner Lights or are they Track Safety Lights?

RaceAmerica's Intelligent Safety Lights provide the track owner with standard flag colors combined with the flexibility to design more eye catching flag displays. These Safety Lights combine ultrabright 4-color LEDs and multi-segment displays with flag animation and automatic switching between flags to deliver flags a driver will see but not be distracted. All models of Safety Lights maintain two-way comunications with the tower to insure the flag desired at the turn is the flag displayed on the screen.

Intelligent Track Safety Lights are available in several models and operate from standard AC power or DC power sources. Data communications between the tower and the Intelligent Track Safety Lights can be through a proprietary wireless link or connected to the track's existing IP Network. The combination of wireless and DC powered enables the Intelligent Track Safety Light to be mounted at locations where no power or communications are available.

Can I design the flags for my track? The TrackSafety software provides the ability to design up to 16 flags for use with the safety lights. Track Safety Lights consist of color blocks. Each block is programmable as red, green, blue or yellow then an animation is selected and applied to the selected colors and blocks. The flag is then saved for use.

Are the Track Safety Lights sealed units? Track Safety Lights are designed for longterm outdoor use. Special 'swirl vents' in the bottom of the enclosure provide metered air flow for use in any high moisture environments without failure.

What type of DC power sourses can I use? Track Safety Lights can be powered by a RaceAmerica Ruggedized Battery Pack (pn 6758A), a 12VDC battery, or a solar panel with a regulated output between 10VDC and 14VDC. A DC Interconnect Cable is added to the order matched to the power source to power the Track Safety Light.

Can I mix different models of Track Safety Lights? Yes, differnt sizes and models of Track Safety Lights can be installed around the race track. The software will detect the units in use and display their size and shape onscreen. The software automatically adjusts for different characteristics of each Track Safety Light model.

Are the Track Safety Lights compliant with established standards for LED safety lights? Yes, all models of Track Safety Lights comply with AKA standards governing LED safety light use.

Are the Track Safety Lights complatible with MyLaps? Yes, MyLaps Orbit4 and Orbits5 software communicates with our TrackSafety software to control all Track Safety Lights on track.

Can I dim the Track Safety Lights for night racing? Brightness control is controlled by the TrackSafety software. Brightness level is variable and can be set to match ambient light conditions from full sunlight to nighttime conditions.
