RaceAmerica's L-series Display Timers combine the timing accuracy and precision of our most popular Elapsed Time Timing Systems with the crowd pleasing presentation of one of our Large Digital Displays, all in one package. This Display Timer is a 6-digit live counting timer displaying seconds to a thousandth of a second in 5" tall or 8" tall display digits. The LED display continuously displays the current lap time counting live at 0.001 second intervals. On each lap when the vehicle 'breaks' the starting line timing beam, the display freezes the lap time and holds the lap time for the crowd to view. After the user confgured 'hold time' expires, the display updates to the current timing of the current lap. Power can be supplied to the timer from any 12 volt DC power source or by using the optional 110 volt AC Adapter.
Product Demo This timer is designed for oval and closed circuit tracks timing one vehicle at a time on the track. A simple press of the Display Timer's handheld pushbutton resets the timer. The timer automatically checks alignments at the starting line to insure the track electronics has not been bumped or misaligned. After the alignment tests are complete, the display resets to 0.000 ready for the next run.
Press and hold the handheld pushbutton to enter into Sensor Alignment Mode to verify sensor/emitter beam alignment at the starting line. When the alignment is off, the display counts with the counting speed relative to how far out of alignment the beam is and 'locks in' when fully aligned.

All 6832L and 6532L Lap Timing Display Timers include one race proven model 5040 IR Beam Emitter and one model 5140 IR Track Sensor and a 100 foot Track Sensor Interconnect Cable. Click Here for more information regarding track electronics.

Simple cable connections allows the display to be mounted where the crowd can view it. A single cable connection to the bottom of the Display Timer routing power, the handheld pushbutton, and connections for starting line Sensor Interconnect Cable.
