Snowmobile Scoreboards

Designed by RaceAmerica

6804 Display Pix The latest models of RaceAmerica Finish Order Scoreboards are now available in two digit sizes, 15 inch tall digits and 8 inch tall digits. These scoreboards are designed to connect to a RaceAmerica Timer S4 Four Lane Snowmobile Drag Timing System and display lane finishing order after very run. When the finish line is 500 feet away, the crowd is not able to determine who finished where. These Finish Order Scoreboards tell the crowd how each driver performed indicating the same finishing order displayed on the Christmas Trees of the Timer S4 Snowmobile Drag Timing System. Even when operating in full direct sunlight, these scoreboards are easily viewable.

These Finish Order Scoreboards are microprocessor based intelligent scoreboards using the latest technology Ultra-Bright LED's (Light Emitting Diodes). These are no ordinary LED's. By incorporating the latest LED technology, RaceAmerica's Scoreboards can be seen clearly up to 1/8 mile away for the 15 inch digit, and 320 feet away for the 8 inch digit! Designed to connect to standard 12 volt DC power or 110VAC or 230VAC with our AC Adapters, the low power consumption level of these scoreboards do not require special power feeds or high amp batteries. With no moving parts to wear out, the solid state design increases reliability significantly and reduces the cost of owning a RaceAmerica Finish Order Scoreboard to connect to your timing system.
Two Lanes Used Pix
This scoreboard automatically scores the finishing order of only the lanes used for the race. If only two lanes were used, the scoreboard indicates the lanes who finished and a dash is displayed for the unused lanes. The picture indicates lane 4 finished in first and lane 2 finished in second. Lanes 1 and 3 were not used during this race. The scoreboard automatically clears after 30 seconds or 2 minutes, selectable through DIP switches on the rear of the scoreboard.

With four lanes to consider, how the finish order is displayed depends on where the scoreboard is located on the track. If you are at the start line looking at the finish line, lane 1 is to your left. If you are at the finish line facing the start line, lane 1 is to your right. Switch settings on the rear of this scoreboard and reversible lane numbers above the scoreboard provide the flexibility to adjust the scoreboard to match where it's located on the track. Using a RS422 Communication POD or Wireless Data Comm Link to connect this scoreboard to the Timer S4 provides the ability to daisy chain multiple scoreboard together to cover all viewing angles on the race track.
Carry Case Pix To protect your investment, this custom heavy duty carry case doubles as a shipping case. With all metal reinforced corner and edges, all metal hinges, locking latches, and custom high density foam inserts, this case will protect the scoreboard from damage, impacts, and vibration. The carry case makes sense, especially if the scoreboard is stored away between events. Model 6076A is available for the 8 inch digit height scoreboard.
