Use car number to load drivers in XLscore

When I register drivers, I follow the standard procedure of car#+lastname=lastname. I would like to see the car number as a separate field from the driver\'s name.
XLscore PRO and XLscore II both have been updated in revision E.11 to separate the car number from the driver name. In rev E.11, car number is its own field and all drivers in a class are sorted by car number. The driver name is now an open text and has been extended in length for first and last names to fit. The pop-up drivers list will show CARNUMBER, DRIVERNAME so lookup and selection start with the car number. It is still a good practice to maintain a set number of digits to all car numbers with leading zeroes. Car #1, Car #10, and Car #100 will sort before Car #2. With a set number of digits, sort for these four cars would be Car#001, Car#002, Car#010, then Car#100.
E.11 is currently available for 2700 and 2710 XLWireless drag systems and will soon be available for 2900 and 2910 XLProfessional hardwired systems in the next release of the software. All contract and warranty customers will receive free updates for the timer as well as the PC software update.

Will the XLregisterHD iPad app be updated for the car number change?
Yes, the current version of the XLregisterHD iPad driver registrtion apps has been updated and allows selecting either LAST/FIRST driver names or CAR#/DRIVER NAME data entry format. This choice is found in the SETTINGS area by clicking on the settings gear in the app.
Of course, the iPad app setting must match the PC software revision to work seamlessly together.
