Track safety cube compatibility

A friend purchased your track safety cubes and a hand controller for his karting track. Our track has a hand controller also and I am wondering if we could use the cubes on our track as additional lights maybe for pit in pit out?

You could use the track safety cube for pit in pit out but they would be much smaller than typical RaceAmerica track safety lights. To insure the two wireless hand controllers do not interfere with each other, check the Optimizer Code on each, they need to be different. The wireless hand controller for the track will control only the track safety lights while the track safety cubes will be controlled by the second hand controller.

If the Optimizer Code on both wireless hand controllers is the same, both hand controller will control track safety lights and cubes at the same button press. Highly doubtful the Optimizer is the same but is a good reality check. The Optimizer Code is the key to what channel and transmit code is sent by each wireless hand controller and which safety light or cubes will respond (with matching Optimizer Codes).

How can I operate the track safety lights and track safety cubes from a single hand controller if the optimizer code is different? I am hoping to just add the cubes to the existing safety lights we bought.

The Optimizer Code is set at the factory and is different for security reasons. Different Optimizer Codes keep one hand controller from interfering with other systems. To change the Optimizer Code of the track safety cubes requires shipping them back to RaceAmerica for reprogramming. If you do, ship the matching Wireless Hand Controller with it to be reprogrammed too, otherwise the cube’s matching Wireless Hand Controller will not work with any of your devices.
