| The Timer S4 XL timing system is controlled by your PC running the XLscore S4 PC Software supplied with the system. The Main screen displays all four lanes of race results and monitors staging real-time through the Wireless Data Comm Links on the track. When a race completes, the software displays race results and finish order. Results are saved the PC's hard drive, date and time stamped providing an audit trail for your event. |
| Clicking on the ALIGN SENSORS button displays the Alignment screen. This screen graphically displays the sensor layout on the race track and the realtime status of each sensor's alignment highlighting the sensor name in RED when the sensor is out of alignment. The Christmas Trees also echoes the realtime alignment status of all sensors illuminating a light on the tree for each sensor out of alignment |
| Maintaining dependable wireless connections is critical to the system's operation. A convenient Wireless Test Screen provides an easy method to monitor the wireless connections continuously to assure the owner of the proper operation. The PC continuously communicates with the wireless on the track and measures the Wireless Integrity Level to identify interference and wireless placement and maximum connectivity. |
| With the track electronics, Scoreboards, and Timeslip Printers operating in a completely wireless format, the XLscore S4 PC software can test wireless modules. One spare module can be reconfigured to replace any wireless unit in use, thus, reducing the amount of spares required to support a large wireless network. |
