Model 2800/2850 to 2900 XL Professional Upgrade/Trade-in Packages

History of the XL Professional Timing System

The initial launch of the Model 2800 XL Professional Timing System occurred back in 2000. With the availability of new technology, the 2850 XL Professional Timing System was introduced in 2004 as an upgrade path for the 2800. In 2008, new microprocessor technology gave the 2850 a speed increase and allowed for additional software features to be implemented. In 2011, advancements in microprocessor technology provides another incremental step of design resulting in the 2900 XL Professional Timing System integrating Dual Processor Technology for higher reliability.

RaceAmerica now offers cost effective upgrade paths to all owners of 2800 and 2850 timing systems.

    • If you have a 2800 or 2850 and are unsure if you can benefit from the upgrade, turn on your timing system and check the version of the console using the XLscore PRO software. Check the second line in the lower left hand corner of the MAIN MENU of the XLscore PRO software.
