Automatic Lane Designation
Lane Designation
This system tests a driver's ability to react to a signal and select a designated lane. The system starts with detection of the vehicle using an infrared beam stretched across the lane. The beam is connected to a T-Link 3.0 Wireless unit, same hardware used in our professional timing systems. Once the vehicle is detected, the T-Link random selects a lane and sends control commands to the Safety Cubes located on each lane and illuminates the cube to designate the selected lane. Wait 7 seconds and the system resets for the next vehicle.

System can be configured with different color combinations for the Safety Cube indicators to match your program needs.
Automatic Driver Braking
Lane Designation
This system tests a driver's ability to react under emergency braking. The system starts with detection of the vehicle using an infrared beam stretched across the lane. The beam is connected to a T-Link 3.0 Wireless unit, same hardware used in our professional timing systems. Once the vehicle is detected, the T-Link immediately sends control commands to the Safety Cube to illuminate the stop indicator. Wait 7 seconds and the system resets for the next vehicle.

System can be configured with different colors for the Safety Cube indicator to match your program needs.

System Components
T-Link 3.0 Model 3710 T-Link 3.0 Wireless is the main control unit of the system. Hardwired to the infrared sensor at the start line, all the control logic and wireless control of the Safety Cubes is preprogrammed.
Safety Cube Model 6770 Safety Cube with the included Cradle Mount is Lithium-Ion battery powered and USB rechargable. Ultrabright LEDs make this compact unit highly visible in full sunlight. Cradle Mount provides mounting to a tripod, post, or wall.
Track Electronics Models 5050 Beam Emitter and 5140 Track Senosr, the same track electronics used in our professional timing systems is utilized here. Highly efficient infrared beam system is powered by a Lithium-Ion Removeable Battery Pack. Sensor is hardwired to the T-Link for maximum reliability.
