Live Race Lap Time Monitoring
To enable the crowd to monitor live lap data and standings from a handheld device, use your existing WiFi network at your track and combined it with our lap monitoring app to provide live standings on their iPhone or iTouch. Do not have a WiFi network at the track? No problem, simply add a wireless router connected to the PC running the MyLaps Orbits PC software and position it on the track where the crowd is. For larger tracks, add high gain whip antennas or directional point-to-point mesh routers. Enable the Scoreboard Feed in the Orbits software and copy down the IP Address and Port.
Configure the App
Download the MyLapScore App from the App Store and enter the IP Address and Port into the Settings screen by touching the setting gear. Select the RACE full standings or the TOP5+2 to monitor the top 5 plus two of your favorite drivers. Now you are live monitoring every lap.
FOUR MODES OF OPERATION
Live Race Full Standings
Display live lap times and stats lap by lap with live indicators on position changes. Display lap updates with Gap, Diff, Best, and Lap times for each driver.
Live Top 5 plus 2 Selected Drivers
Display the Top 5 positions plus select two drivers to monitor on the same screen. Now you can see who leads the race and compare to your favorite drivers.
Recall Previous Heats by Driver
While the live race action is happening, all the laps and stats are stored in your iPhone for later review. Select a driver and view all their laps and stats in all their heats.
Recall Previous Heats by Lap
While the live race action is happening, all the laps and stats are stored in your iPhone for later review. Select a heat and view all the laps and driver stats lap by lap.
