RaceAmerica's model 3905 Laptimer is designed for timing single vehicle lap timing events like Maniac Runs and Time Trials. The 3905 Laptimer can time and store up to nine laps for a vehicle and recall each lap time to the LED display on the console. Vehicle Numbers can be entered into the 3905 Laptimer for later recall and printing. Vehicle Number, Lap Numbers, and Lap Times can be printed to an optional Timeslip Printer and each lap time can be sent to an optional LED Digital Display after each lap is completed. The 3905 Laptimer package includes a 100 foot cable to connect the console in the tower to the track electronics on the track. The 3905 Laptimer ships with model 5040 track electronics designed for a 50 foot wide track. For the wider tracks, RaceAmerica offers higher powered Beam Emitter track electronics.

	Each IR Track Sensor & IR Beam Emitter pair is monitored and displayed as a single digit in the display. When the alignment is not correct, the digit counts at a rate equal to the alignment problem. If the count is slow, the alignment is close and needs a little adjusting. If the counting is at a fast rate, the alignment is way off and needs immediate attention. Once the alignment is correct, the digit stops counting and you are ready to time a run.
	Vehicle Numbers or Driver Bib Numbers can be entered into the 3905 Laptimer prior to the speed run and recalled to the LED Display on the timer console at anytime. Numbers are also printed on the timeslip.
	Pressing the RESET button on the keypad places the 3905 Laptimer into run mode. The timer automatically re-checks the IR Track Sensor and IR Beam Emitter alignments before each reset and indicates it is ready to time a run.
	The Laptimer continues to time up to nine laps or until the STOP butoon is pressed on the keypad. The display confirms halting the timing process and all lap times and lap numbers can be recalled to the display and printed in summary format on a timeslip printer.
	When the vehicle completes a lap, the lap number and lap time are displayed for a few seconds on the timer console. Lap times can be recalled later by lap up to 9 laps per vehicle and printed on a timeslip. RaceAmerica offres Data Capture PC Software to connect your PC to the Laptimer and add driver's names. All Lap Time Results can be stored on the hard drive of the PC withn a Date and Time Stamp.

Timeslips can be printed from the Laptimer indicating the vehicle number and lap time for each of the nine laps. The same information can be sent to a PC and stored with driver name and date/time stamp.
