- First, ensure the USB Wireless Unit is not plugged into the USB port on the PC.
- Unzip the software and drag the .EXE file to the desktop.
- Double click the .EXE file to begin installation.
- A program icon (Orbit2SB) will be placed on the desktop when installed.
- Once the software is installed, a second program will run to extract and install the FTDI drivers for the USB Wireless Unit.
- Follow the onscreen prompts until the installation of drivers is complete.

NOTE: installing FTDI drivers consists of installation of the USB driver, then install of a COM port driver, both contained in the FTDI install program.

- When the installation is complete, plug in the USB Wireless Unit and wait a few minutes until Windows assigns a COM port to the device.
- Double click the Orbit2SB icon on the desktop to run the 3130A Scoreboard Interface program.

- Click on USB Wireless COM Port and select the COM port.
NOTE: If you are unsure which port is correct, note which COM ports are listed then QUIT the program, unplug the USB cable and restart the program. Click to select a COM port and note which COM port is missing. QUIT the program, plug the USB cable in and restart the program. The COM port list will add the desired COM port to the list.
- To test the connection to the scoreboard or lap display, click TEST and all 8's will appear on the display. Click CLEAR to blank the display.

To connect to the Rmonitor feed from Orbits or Race Manager:
- In Orbits or Race Manager, locate the Scoreboard Settings and note the IP Address and Port Number listed.
- Enter the IP Address and Port Number into the Orbits2SB program.
- Click ENABLE FEED to connect to the Rmonitor feed.
- If running Race Manager, click the box for WESTHOLD SOFTWARE.

Other Orbits2SB features:
- Laps To Go will count display laps left (requires the race be configured for a lap limit in Orbits/Race Manager).
- Practice/Qualify Mode displays lap times on RaceTrack Scoreboards with Lap/Time Displays.
- Race Mode displays lap count for the leader.
