New Track Safety Light compatibility

Postby Richkim » Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:39 am

Our club has a set of 6750 and 6752 Track Safety Lights we purchase about two years ago. We are getting back to racing and want to add another light. I hear the TSL product has been redesigned and the newer models are brighter and use less power than the models we own.

Can I add the new models to our track and are they fully compatible with the units already in place? Can the units we own be upgraded?

The latest model of Track Safety Lights have the new RGB configuration and are fully compatible with all previous revisions of the TSL. The current model does not contain any yellow LEDs like previous models. The RGB format will illuminate red and green LEDs and your eye will see it as a very clean yellow.

Just like previous models, there are no white LEDs. White is displayed by combining all LEDs in the correct ratio and your eye will see white. The current models will display a very clean white.

The current models will display yellow and white at a much brighter level to enhance even more the viewability in full sunlight.
