Available upgrades to USB power

When I added more Tlinks to my system, I purchased the Tlink 3. I want to rid myself of the rechargeable internal batteries (I have Tlink 1 and Tlink 2). I understand I can replace these with a Tlink 3 upgrade program and also replace the AA batteries in my emitters with the same Lithium battery packs. If I do this, what else do I need to do with my hardware and software to make it all compatible? Upgrading everything seems like a less expensive way to buy a new system.

Our club just upgraded our T-Link system with the SLA batteries to the new T3's. What a difference! One of our T-Links was not working good but it did not matter for the trade in. When RaceAmerica says 'working or not' they meant it. Now we have a like new system and we spent less money than buying a Farmtek (which I voted against).

My suggestion to you, is move forward with the full upgrade before it goes way.

Yes, you can upgrade the older T-Link 1, T-Link 2, and all Start Line (for drag) and downtrack Beam Emitters to our new USB Battery Packs. The new T-Link 3.0 does require to send in your 5140 Track Sensors for a compatibility update. This update is no charge when upgrading to the T-Link 3.0. No other hardware update or software update is required.

Also, as the number of USB Battery Packs grows, take a look at the 5500A Desktop Charging Station with eight battery charging slots for eight USB Battery Packs. No need for USB charge cables and batteries can be left in the charger without overcharging. Always have a fully charged spare battery available.
