Display Timers - SC Series

Need a clock to time events lasting up to an hour long with a Live Counting Display Clock? RaceAmerica's Stopwatch Countdown Display Timers are live counting timers displaying elapsed time. These combination timer and display are available in 24 inch, 15 inch, 8 inch, and 5 inch tall Ultra-Bright LED digits. These are no ordinary LED's. By incorporating the latest LED technology, RaceAmerica's Timer Displays can be seen clearly with full sunlight shining directly into the front of the scoreboard! The SC series is available in 6-digit, 5-digit, and 4-digit models tuned to your timing needs. With a simple press of a Handlheld Starter's Button, these Display Timers start the clock counting. A second press of the Starter's Button stops the clock.

Control of this Display Timer is acomplished through configuration DIP switches located on the rear of the display. The Display Timer can be configured to count up from zero or count down from a preselected starting time. The clock continuously displays the current time counting live at 0.01 or 0.001 second intervals. Power can be supplied to the timer from a variety of power sources: 24VDC, 12VDC, 110VAC, and 230VAC using our AC Adapters.

Count Up Mode
When Count Up Mode is selected, the display counts starting at 0:00.00 with a press of the handheld pushbutton. Counting continues until 60 minutes is reached or the handheld pushbutton is pressed to halt the timing. Press and hold the Starter's Button to reset the display for the next event to be timed. A quick glance at the Display timer and the crowd can see how much time has elapsed during the timed event.

Stopwatch Mode
Stopwatch Mode is designed for event timing where manual starting and stopping of the timing system by a race official is required and an active counting clock is displayed to the crowd in attendance. A press of the handheld pushbutton starts the clock counting and display of the time to a thousandth of a second. The race official presses the handheld pushbutton a second time to stop the timing and freeze the display. A press and hold the handheld pushbutton to resets the timer back to 0.000 ready for the next run.

Count Down Mode
When Count Down Mode is selected, the display counts backwards starting with a press of the handheld pushbutton. The starting time is configured by setting the DIP switches to the desired time. Counting continues until time expires or the handheld pushbutton is pressed to halt the timing. Press and hold the handheld pushbutton to reset the display for the next event to be timed. A perfect solution for timed events where the participants and the crowd can glance at the Display Timer and know how much time is left on the clock.

Clock Mode
These Display Timers can also act like a wall clock. Set the hours and minutes and the timer displays in standard clock HH:MM format.

Display Timer Carry Cases
Models 6076, 6077, 6075
To protect your investment, these custom Carrying Cases were designed to provide a snug fit each fo the displays. The model 6076 Heavy Duty Carry Case doubles as a shipping case for the 8" tall digit single line displays. With all metal reinforced corner and edges, all metal hinges, locking latches, and custom high density foam inserts, this case will protect the display from damage, impacts, and vibration.

The zippered Softside Carry Cases model 6077 and 6075, are designed in custom sizes for the 8 inch and 5 inch tall digit display timers. Constructed with a soft fabric shell encasing a full inch of foam on all sides of the display and a full length zipper for easy access to the display. Model 6075 Carry Case for the 5 inch displays has a small compartment to hold the table stands, power cord, and AC power adapter. These carry cases make sense, especially if the displays are stored away between events.
