The 3204 Demo Tree Controller is designed to manually start a drag tree or operate in a continuous 'demo mode' as an active store or window display. Pro or Full tree starts are both available when operated in Manual Mode. The 3204 mounts conveniently to the back of a standard RaceAmerica 12VDC, 110VAC, and 230VAC Drag Tree with one short interconnect cable. Power is provided to the 3204 unit by the RaceAmerica Drag Tree and the controller is operated using a hardwired 25 foot handheld pushbutton or controlled from a Wireless Tree-Link direct to a PC running Tree Control software provided by RaceAmerica. |
3204 Models
3204T Hardwired
The 3204T Demo tree Controller package consists of the 3204T Controller, 05-3250 Tree to Controller Interconnect Cable, and Handheld Starter's Button with a 25 foot cable. Simply remove four of the tree rear panel mounting screws, position the 3204T and re-install the four screws. Connect the interconnect cable and pushbutton and you are ready to power up the tree. To switch back to live racing action, simply disconnect the Tree to Controller cable from the tree and reconnect the timing system tree cable. |

3204TW & 3204TX Wireless
Models 3204TW and 3204TX Wireless Demo Tree Controllers consist of the same components of the 3204T with the addition of an integrated Wireless Link. When a PC is equipped with RaceAmerica supplied control software and a RaceAmerica Wireless Data Comm Link, the PC can control all aspects and operation of the Wireless Demo Tree Controller. The design of the 3204TW & 3204TX Demo Tree Controllers allows both Wireless control and operation from the Handheld Pushbutton. |
Demo Tree Utility PC Software
When using a 3204TW or 3204TX Wireless Demo Tree Controller, the PC can control all operations of the tree in Demo and Manual Modes. Starting and stopping Demo Mode and starting a Pro or Full tree light format can be controlled by a simple click on the PC screen. The software also includes a quick way to test the wireless link to the tree. Clicking on the TEST button intiates the PC communications to the tree confirmed by the tree flashing the red lights. |

3204T Modes of Operation
Demo Mode
Demo Mode continuously simulates the start of the racing action completely unattended. Demo Mode pre-stages each lane, then stages both lanes, then demo mode selects a starting light sequence and dial-in for each lane before starting the tree. Redlights occur on some starts simulating realistic track conditions. After displaying the race start on the tree, the tree holds the greens on, then clears, and after a short pause, a new race start begins. Once power is applied, the continuous looping Demo Mode provides an eye catching store and window display as well as a race prop for car shows. |
Manual Mode
Manual Mode enables the drag tree to be used as a starting tree for special events controlled manually by an operator. The starting light sequence is selected at power up by pressing and holding the pushbutton until the red lights illuminate. Release the pushbutton and the tree runs through a PRO tree start format. Press the pushbutton to select the Pro tree starting lights format. If Pro tree is not selected, the tree displays the FULL tree starting format. Press the pushbutton to select the FULL starting lights format. The tree continues to toggle between Pro and Full lights until one is selected. Pressing and holding the pushbutton will pre-stage and stage the tree. Releasing the pushbutton starts the selected starting tree. For a quick start, press and release the pushbuton and the tree pre-stages, stages, and starts the tree. A few seconds later the tree clears ready for the next start. |
